Get Involved

The San Antonio Scorpions Wrestling Club is a non-profit and volunteer organization. The club was founded 1999 and has been successful due to its volunteer coaches and our parent volunteers. We need our parents to get involved in order to ensure SASWC and the sport of Wrestling continues to prosper.

Tournament Help- During tournaments, SASWC is responsible for helping with table workers.
 
  • It is REQUIRED that each member has at least one parent volunteer to work 1 local tournament, 1 National tournament held in Austin every year, and our annual sponsored tournament the first weekend in December. You do not need to have experience or extensive knowledge of wrestling. This is basic time keeping and scoring.

Volunteer Coaching Staff- Lead by Coach Logan Fleegle and Derek Ludwig, with help from our assistant and returning coach, Coach Victor Gonzalez, Coach Jack Zigtema, Coach Pat Grogan and Coach Jason Conin, they volunteer many hours and accompany your road trips, please follow the rules and speak with him directly after practice or via email if you have any concerns.

If you would like to help on the tournament mat, you will need to get a Copper Level Coaches Card. You do not need to have wrestling experience to complete and pass this course.
